| 9.9.26 | Foundation for Research and Technology – New Facilities in Chania

The Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), the largest research institution in Greece and one of the most prominent in Europe, is expanding in Chania with new facilities (Innovation Hub and Research & Development Building).

FINOMIX contributed to the construction of these modern infrastructures at the Technical University of Chania campus, supplying a wide range of its products, including the complete certified external thermal insulation system FINOCLIMA.

For the FINOCLIMA system applied in the project, the following products were used:

FC 1100 - adhesive & reinforcing mortar
SILICONE PRIMER 1450 - primer
FC 1300•SILICONE - finishing render
CLIMA•EPS - thermal insulation boards
CLIMA•NET - fiberglass mesh
CLIMA•CORNER - PVC corner bead with mesh
CLIMA•DRIP - PVC drip profile with mesh
CLIMA•FIX - anchors
